Hey there loveliess, welcome back!
I hope you’re all warm and well!
Anatomicals is a brand I’ve seen floating around Instagram for a while now and having looked into the brand a little bit and being intrigued by their clever word play packaging, I was super excited to receive some of their goodies in the post to test, try and review for you guys ♥
Hair care products aren’t something I experiment much with so I thought it would be interesting to test out some of the hair products from Anatomicals. They kindly sent over a shampoo, conditioner and hair mask and I wasted no time in putting them to the test. Could anything really replace my love for extraordinary clay?
What I love about Anatomicals is that they’ve attracted me in with their simplistic bold bright packaging and cleverly named products. This cult brand will soon be a house hold name, and a big hit with beauty lovers everywhere.
Before we get started, I think it’s important to mention, that anatomicals are a cruelty free brand, none of their ingredients or products are tested on animals and they’re 100% vegan friendly!(Yay for brand morals!)
All of their products are also paraben free so no nasty chemicals here!
The follicle oracle shampoo – 25omls £3.50
A fresh cucumber scented shampoo for frequent hair washing. This shampoo felt really nice to use, it didn’t lather to much and I didn’t need as much product as I usually do which was a bonus for me! After rinsing, my hair definitely felt squeaky clean! I loved the cucumber scent, it felt refreshing and awakening so I think this would be handy to use in the morning to get yourself going!
The sleek shall inhert the earth conditioner- 300mls £3.50
The pump packaging made is super easy to get just the right amount of product (Waste not want not) The conditioner is quite thin in consistency so I did need quite alot to cover my overly thick hair. I mainly focused this product on the mid lengths and ends as that’s where the damage has been done and left it to soak in for a few minuets. My hair felt lovely and soft once washed off and the because the conditioner isn’t really thick my hair didn’t feel weighed down like it usually does. I can’t put my finger on what scent this conditioner is but it just smelt clean and fresh which I liked.
Giving good head hair mask- 4mls £4.95
Saved the best ’til last! First of lets appreciate the packaging! The 45ml pouch suggests that there’s enough product for a few uses. For someone with an average amount of hair, this is great. Sadly for me, I had to use the whole pouch. But it isn’t all bad new, I LOVED this hair mask, it was really thick and full of goodness! I don’t need to tell you how much I love coconut oil (I wrote a whole post about it) but just know it does wonders for your hair! With the added blend of honey, this made for a really lovely hair treatment and I’d recommend it to anyone. My hair is quite dry and frizzy from years of heat damage and excessive colouring so when I applied this super nourishing mask, I could hear my hair singing with joy!
I’m super impressed at the quality of these hair care products, they’ve worked wonders for me and I know they will for you too! I’ll 100% be repurchasing these products and testing out some more! I’m obsessed with the quirkiness of the brand and I love what they stand for!
