Helloo my loveliesss!
Recently, I’ve become a huge fan of natural based products and since adding more natural skincare to my day to day routine, I’m noticing quite a positive difference. I’ve always been such a huge fan of coconut oil, I use it for everything and I dedicated a whole post to the benefits which was really popular with you guys and you can read here if you’d like a peek.
Today, I’ll be sharing with you all the benefits of what I think is beauty’s best kept secret. The Moringa Oil.
Now, I have to be honest, I hadn’t heard of this before I was kindly gifted a bottle from the guys over at the eco warehouse so I had to do a little research before creating this post and that gave me enough time to put it to the test and I have to say I was more than impressed with the results.
What is Moringa oil?
A naturally sources oil from the seeds of the Moringa tree, which is native to India and is cultivated over tropical climates. The oil is collected from the long seed pods and is rich in multi-vitamins, protein, anti-inflammatory properties and anti-oxidants.
The beauty benefits of using Moringa oil
The anti ageing oil– It’s said that using moringa oil will help even out fine lines, smooth wrinkles and when combined with witch hazel will make your skins appearance tighter and firmer.
An intense moisturiser– something for all my dry skin babes, applying this over the face twice a day will 100% nurture and hydrate you skin. Say goodbye to dry flaky skin forever.
Spot treatment- The oil contains a high levels of anti-inflammatory properties which makes it ideal for reducing the appearance and redness of spots as well as helping repair ache scarring.
Irritating skin conditions?- sufferers with eczema like myself should all invest in some of this oil because I’ve used it on my problem area’s and found it super helpful in soothing my sore skin.
Healthier looking hair- I’ve used this oil a few times on my hair now as a conditioner and a hot oil treatment and each time it’s left my hair feeling silky, easier to manage and dandruff free. Don’t use to much on your hair because it can feel quite weighty.
Nail and cuticle oil – If you have super hard nails, soaking them in moringa oil will help soften them, making it much easier to get a glam mani/pedi.
As well as all these incredible beauty benefits, there are many health benefits too which makes it one of the most versatile and highly demanded products. The oil always is good at strengthening bones, improving cholesterol, increasing the absorption of iron in the body and it’s also claimed to have cancer fighting properties.
How the oil worked for me
Since using Moringa oil I’ve noticed huge improvements in the strength and condition of my hair, I’m not having to deal with a frizzy mess anymore and I don’t feel the need to add any shine spray. My skin is all over the place at the moment and I’m putting that down to the change in weather but I have noticed my skin is feeling more hydrated and smooth which is always a bonus. The Moringa oil has taken a well deserved place in my beauty essentials and overall I’m super impressed at how this oil performed.
Where can I get it from?
