Hey lovelies, I hope you’re warm and well!
Primark have really upped their game in terms of beauty products recently. While browsing the stands of unorganised and overly swatched products, I spotted these. Primark saint or sinner lip vinyls are part of the “saint or sinner range” that was launched around Halloween time. These were on sale for £1 each, it would have been rude not to pick them up. I only got 3 shades, although I’m not sure how many there are in the collection. Let’s see if they’re any good or not?
The liquid lipsticks come in a clear tube with a black ribbed lip. The come packaged a cute designed cardboard box. Each one contains 8ml of product, which is quite a generous size. The packaging is simple but I feel it works for the brand. Attached to the wand is a flat applicator that holds a decent amount of product.
Application and formula:
There was difficulty applying these evenly. The purple shade was really patchy and streaky in placed and the more product added the harder it becomes. These lip vinyls are thick and sticky in consistency which wasn’t enjoyable or easy to work with. Out of all of them, the nude shade applied the best which I was pleased about because I love a good nude lip. After literally 10 minuets all the shades bled out and smudged, despite using a lip liner.
As you can see from the swatches above, the lip vinyls move and bleed quite a lot. The thick sticky formula wasn’t comfortable to wear at all. My lips felt heavy and after drinking from my water bottle, the colour had transferred almost completely. It’s a shame because the shades are lovely but just not practical for every day wear.
Honestly these Primark saint or sinner lip vinyls are not for me. I didn’t find them nice to wear, they didn’t last and the application was patchy. Wouldn’t recommend these, not even for a quid. Such a shame because I’ve heard amazing things about Primark makeup.
Have you tried these Primark saint or sinner lip vinyls before?
